SOULTOUL ( May 5, 1958) is a musician and drummer from Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture. He joined a music team at the age of five. At the age of 12 he made his professional debut as a member of a band playing on a military base and cabaret and began studio work at the age of 15 years.
He participated in a twin-drum unit, and also participated in recordings such as the single "Sapphire eyes". From 1993 to 1998 he was active as a member of Ryuji Uzaki & RU Connection with Inoue Akiyuki. Since then, he has participated in the solo project of Ryudo Uzaki.
SOULTOUL has been active overseas for several years and recorded more than 5 million album sales in Japan, and is currently ranked first in Oricon from the super rock bands "B'z" and "GLAY" from the current J-POP It always participates in the storm of Oricon upper group. On TV, he regularly appeared on CX series "LOVE LOVE Ai Iru" and NHK "Adolescent Pops".
