Toki Eiji (Hanifumi, February 1, 1950 -) is a jazz saxophonist from Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture. He plays Alto saxophone and soprano saxophone and is active in a wide range of genres including jazz, fusion, R & amp; B, Japanese pops.
After dropping out of Osaka College of Music, He joined the group of Isao Suzuki.
In 1985, he formed Chicken Shack with Junshū Yamagishi (Gt), Toru Suetagi (Key) and others. Six original albums were released before the activities stopped in 1991.
He was famous as one of the backing members of Tatsuro Yamashita and participated in Yamashita's tour from 1986 to 2011.
