Kanie Haruka graduated from the Music Education Department, National Music University. She received the Okamoto Award, which is given to a senior graduate at graduation. She studied piano with Nozuko Yamashiro and vocal music with Atsushi Nozaki and Megumi Mori.
Currently, while continuing research under Ms. Matsushita, she is active as a conductor of seven groups including mixed voice and female voice.
In Tokyo College Contest 2013, she directed Collegium Cantorum YOKOHAMA and won the first prize for mixed music in the religious music section, and the Spring Kon Grand Prix awarded to the best group in all sections.
In the same contest, she directed the Tokyo Metropolitan Musashi High School and affiliated junior high school chorus club, they ranked first in the mixed high school category in 2014 and the Tokyo Metropolitan Board of Education awards in 2019.
