Ami Ito (August 16, 1988) is a violinist from Suginami Ward, Tokyo. She is the winner of 1st place in Japan Music Competition in 2009. She also received the 1st place of the RNCM Manchester International Violin Competition in 2011. The former artist name is Ami Oike, and it was renamed to the current artist name Ami Ito from 2016 on the occasion of marriage in October 2015.
Began to start violin at the age of three with the introduction of Aunt Yamashita Masumi, she has been in Switzerland for two years since the age of six since his father's transfer and studied under Mr. Habib Kayrayi. After returning home, she studied under Shitoko Ishii. She has performed with orchestras such as Japan Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, Kansai Philharmonic Orchestra, Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, and Jules Symphony Orchestra.
