Aiko Yamaide (山出愛子) is the 7th student council president of Sakura Gakuin. She had been in the group since 2013 until 2018.
Aiko Yamaide was born on December 1, 2002 and her family named her after the Imperial Princess Aiko because they too wanted Aiko to be loved by everyone. They also named her this because Aiko was born exactly one year after the birth of the Princess.
She loves to watch movies and watch DVD's, her hobby is to also observe others and her favorite food is ice-cream. Her skills are playing the piano and dancing while her dream is to be a singer-songwriter.
On September 25, 2011 "Genkin! Kagoshima" held an event called the "1st Kagoshima CM Star☆Project" and she passed allowing her to play the role of Amelie the character in the American Home Direct Ad. On May 25, 2012 with the name "Amelie and Tamari" a charity single was released for the reconstruction support of the aftermath of the earthquake and tsunami. This single was called "Ame Hare Chuchu" which was only released to those in Kagoshima. On the second day of "KTS Day 2013" on September 22, 2013, she graduated from her activities as Amelie.
When Aiko went to see Tokyo Top Kids Collection A/W 2012 on August 1 her mother went to the office of Amuse and received a newcomer scouting project for "TTKC Scout". In May 5 2013, "Sakura Gakuin ~Transfer Ceremony~" was held and therefore joining the group as the youngest member. On May 7 2017 during "Sakura Gakuin ~Transfer Ceremony~" she was appointed the student council president.
On March 24, 2018 Aiko graduated from Sakura Gakuin along with Megumi Okada and Momoko Okazaki.
On July 24, 2017 Aiko participated in the live event of "Happy Ice Cream" playing 3 songs and 1 original "Taisetsu na Kimi e" on the grand piano. It was her first time performing as a solo musician.
On July 18, 2018 her official website was opened. It was also announced her first solo single will be released on August 22.
