Kichijirou Ohkura (second generation) is an important Intangible Cultural Property Noh Music holder.
His real name is Omura Satoshi. He was born in Showa 25 (1950). He is the second son of the late lord of the 24th Muneo Ozeki Yaemon gate.
He graduated from Literature Department, Nisatsukakuin University. At the age of 5, he performed the first stage. At the "Yoshiroro Kyogen Club" sponsored by himself, he works ambitiously with great music, masterpieces, and rare songs, and at the "Yoshio Gakkai", he creates a stage with a focus on young people and aims to succeed tradition to the next generation.
Moreover, in addition to the stage activities, Kichijirou Ohkura also is a teacher at the Yoshihiro, Yoshirokai, NHK Kyogen Kai, Niigata College Kyogen Research Institute, Theater Company Craze Theater, Theater Group Youth Theater, etc.
He participates in overseas performances in many countries.
He is a professor at Nisatsukakuin University and part-time lecturer at Chukyo University.
