Yanagiya-sanza(Yanagiya Sanzu, July 4, 1974 -) is a member of rakugo family Yanagiya from Odawara City, Kanagawa Prefecture. He belongs to Rakugo Association. His real name is Kenji Hiruda (Hiruta Kenji). He graduated from Kanagawa Prefecture Odawara High School. He is good at classical rakugo. The playing music is "Kyogako Daigo Daigakuda". His nickname is Mimi-chan.
When he was in elementary school first grade,he was strongly interested in Rakugo (噺 噺) on TV. Becoming a junior high school student and attend Tokyo's vaudeville, he didn't like studying and only aimed for rakugo. He asked Yanagiya Small Michiji 10th generation to be a rakugoka, but he received the reply "you must be a high school student". In 1993 after high school graduation, he started his rakugo career.
