Ontake Ropeway Ski Area is a ski resort located on the east side of Mt. Due to poor performance due to the end of the ski boom and a decline in the number of customers, the company suspended its winter-2011 spring season. The operation as a ski resort has been virtually closed and has shifted to the summer mountain sales style outside of winter.
Eight courses are set up with one gondola, three lifts and one sidewalk.
