Masato Arai (Masahito Arai, March 25, 1958) is a Japanese singer and composer. JASRAC member.

History:
- In 1977 Professional debut as a vocal of the diary (group).
Belongs to the first professional in 1978 1979 Joined the sound group Pal (Pal) as the second generation lead vocal. The "My Way of the Dawn", released after joining, is used as the theme song for the Japanese TV series drama " My Way " [1] .

• In 1982, Pal is in charge of the opening theme "Adventurers" of the NHK anime " The Son of the Sun " and the ending theme " I met you somewhere ", but the same year it was dissolved.
  
• 1986 In charge of the anime " Mobile Suit Gundam Rin " theme song "It's not an anime-an old earther who forgot his dream".
  
• 1987 Solo debut as "MASAHITO ARAI with sentimental city romance ".
  
• Debuted as a vocal of Brand New Omega Tribe in 1993　.
