Graupel is a metalcore band from Tokyo in Japan, formed in 2015.
Members: Sota Yuyama - Vocal / Yuu Kakimoto - Guitar / Takuma Genda - Guitar / Kai Hioki - Bass / Julien - Drums.
They are an independent band who produce music by themselves. Yuta writes every music for Graupel. Themes is blue, cold and beautiful. His music-making process starts with jamming in his brain then recording demo with Logic. The other members practice with demo by themselves and jamming in the rehearsal studio.
They have played in Tokyo, Osaka, Hokkaido. Their favorite is Shibuya Cyclone, Sapporo Klub Counter Action, Umeda Zeela. Otaru CRU-Z. Shibuya Rubyroom was hard for them because stage is too small for 5 members to perform while moving.
