Early Music Ensemble Contraponto -Ensemble for Early Music An ensemble by old musicians and old musicians, formed in 2005 with the leader of Tetsuro Hanai as a leader. From the late Renaissance to the baroque religious music repertoire, mainly in the 17th century. Depending on the program, each part will be organized according to each work, from instrumental and vocal ensembles to a capella chorus, to solo choruses, to choruses and to the form of a baroque orchestra. In order to make the most of the possibilities of the work, the performers who thoroughly insist on the style of performance specific to the times and regions, and the vocalist and the instrument player share not only the music but the image of the "sound" itself The goal is to play in a "counter-level" manner, while making use of their own creativity. The music he has worked on so far includes Renaissance music such as Victoria and Gesuardo, Golden Age of Venetian religious music such as Gabrieli, Monteverdi, 3 German major baroque S-Scheins, Schite, and Spanish Villachiko and the 18th century Jesuit missionary period A variety of Latin American religious works, French baroque composers Charpantier, Jean Gilles, Couplan, De Lalande, etc. Performed Monteverdi's "Prayer's Evening Prayer" at the 10th anniversary commemoration concert, and its live recording was well-received with CD release and high res delivered as the first Ottava records "Cons's Conte. Basically, each part is organized one by one, with a relatively large number of voices, we will play mainly on large religious songs of the organization. A new generation where vocalists and instrumental musicians play together while sharing the image of the sound itself, with music of an era that can not be captured with modern forms of performance such as solo, chorus and orchestra. Aim for a style ensemble. While making use of their Virtuoso aspects, we pursue expressions suitable for the approach from Renaissance Polyphony, words, and the effects that they possess. The goal is not to play in the existing performance style, but to create a full-fledged music that seeks and builds up a sound suitable for the work. We will actively take up French baroque religious music as a repertoire, as there are few opportunities to be played in Japan. Many of the works are called Grand Mothe, a sort of church cantata with solo, choir and orchestral music. In the performance, it is assumed that the orchestra of Versailles, and the instrumental and vocal music is performed by the organization of 30 to 40 persons.
