Kyoko Komatsubara (Mariko, 2 March 1931) is a Japanese dance artist. Flamenco leader. She was born in Asakusa-ku, Asakusa-ku, Tokyo, as the first daughter of Tokiwazu Katsukura, he grew up in a Japanese-style family. From an early age, she studied shamisen, Japanese dance, classical ballet etc. When she was 15, she joined Komaki Ballet. Theatrical activities also start at the actor seat. From High School attached to Women's Art University. In 1958 (Showa 33), he went to Spain alone and learned flamenco from Enrique-El-Koch and stood on the stage. Formed a Spanish dance troupe in 1969 (Showa 44) after returning home. The actor Koji Sugawara is a brother.
