UNISON SQUARE GARDEN

UNISON SQUARE GARDEN is a three-piece pop-rock band formed by Kousuke Saito (Vocal & Guitar), Tomoya Tabuchi (Bass) and Takao Suzuki (Drums) in 2004. The band features bright, hopeful vocals contrasted with an edgy, throbbing band sound which is brought to life by catchy melodies tunes and unparalleled stage energy.

The band had a steady following on the live circuit since their debut days, and experienced a rise in popularity when their 2011 single, “Orion wo Nazoru” was chosen as the theme song for the hit anime in addition to Konami games such as “REFLEC BEAT limelight,” “jubeat copious APPEND,” “pop’n music Sunny park” and “Dance Dance Revolution.”

After the success of the “Tiger & Bunny” tie-up, the producers were so taken with the band, that two subsequent “Tiger & Bunny” movies also featured the group’s theme songs, “Linear Blue wo Kikinagara” and “harmonized finale.” Other anime tie-ups include the theme song forand the 2015 hit,. The single for the latter title, “Sugar Song and Bitter Step” became their best-charted single ever, debuting at No.5 on the Oricon Weekly Charts.

The trio celebrated their 10th anniversary in 2015 with a best-of compilation album and a fully sold-out solo concert at the Nippon Budokan and continues to thrill both rock and anime fans with their approachable music.
