Shimura Shimura is a famous bass baritone in Japan, graduated from Musashino Music College.
He ranked the highest place in the 27th Japan - Italy Concorso and selected at the 62nd Japan Music Competition and encouragement prize in the 1st Fujisawa Opera Competition. He was also an internship trainee of Cultural Affairs Agency of Heisei for 3 years.
He performed at the Chamber Music Theater, secret marriage, Doncheotte, Barber of Sevilla, etc. In addition, he appeared in Figaro's marriage, Kosi van Tutte, Pereas and Melisand, Don Carlo, masquerade, Tosca, Turandot, love novelty etc. In religious songs, he appeared as a soloist in Requiem, Ninth, Messiah, B minor Mass, a thousand Symphonies, Stabat Mater, Song of Gure, Massa Solmunis, and so on. Members of the Biennial Party, the Japan - Italy Music Association, the Japan Performing Arts Federation.
He is currently a lecturer in Tokyo College of Music.
