Bucket Drummer MASA introduced his concept “We can enjoy music without spending money” in this talk. He has always been interested in street performance and he began to play the bucket drum on the streets of Melbourne, Australia in February 2012. After coming back to Japan, he conducted the “journey of the bucket drum,” in which he traveled 47 prefectures by hitchhiking and playing the bucket drum in the streets. He plays music with some buckets that he got from a gas station and a pipe that he bought at a hardware store. Now, he performs on the streets throughout the country and his performance makes many people stop and listen. since 2015, he has begun appearing on TV and he is performing more often."
