Kei Ogura (real name: Kanji Kanda, January 18, 1944) is a Japanese singer-songwriter, songwriter and composer.
Born in Higashikuromon-cho, Shimoya-ku, Tokyo (Ueno, Taito-ku). Parents run a restaurant.

After graduating from Tokyo Metropolitan Ueno High School and the Faculty of Law at the University of Tokyo, joined Nippon Kangyo Bank (later Daiichi Kangyo Bank, now Mizuho Bank). As a bankman, he has been doing music activities while serving as vice president of securities planning at the securities department, Hamamatsu branch manager, head of financial services at the head office. In the meantime, he has spent time in the United States, studying at Northwestern University and dispatching Merrill Lynch Securities.
