Koichiro Muroya (室屋 光一郎, Muroya Kōichirō, born November 4, 1980 in Osaka) is a Japanese violinist and violist. His interest in classical music began with his father taking him to a live orchestra performance. He upset his parents with his wish to pursue music when he was five since his father could barely sustain them as a middle wage salaryman.
Since his debut, his violin performances can be heard throughout the Japanese entertainment industry. He often provides violin performances for vocalist Minori Chihara. Anime fans can hear his performances in the Attack on Titan, KILL la KILL, and Mobile Suit Gundam UC soundtracks.
