MISAWA Hirofumi is a conductor from Japan.

Born in Gunma Prefecture in 1955. Graduated from Kunitachi College of Music. He studied vocal music with Shigeo Harada and Kengo Nakamura, composition with Kozo Masuda, and harmony with Joe Shimaoka. Aspiring to be a conductor while in school, he learned from the late Kazuo Yamada how to conduct.

As a leading choir conductor in Japan, he has a reputation for teaching professional choirs such as the second stage choir, the Tokyo Opera Singers, and the New National Choir, and also has excellent language skills such as Charles Dutoit, Savarich and Horst Stein. There are also many people from outside conductors.
