Majestics (マジェスティックス) is a band of authentic ska that have been created in Okinawa in 1997.
In 1997, it was formed mainly by members who gathered at the reggaever “Swing Dragon” in Nago City, Okinawa Prefecture.
At that time, they started activities as the only authentic ska band in Okinawa, and gathered topics mainly in Okinawa Prefecture while linking with the sound system “KING RYUKYU SOUND”.
In recent years, they have also appeared in Taiwan's music festival “Taitung Musuc festival 2008”, Fukuoka summer festival “SunSet Live”, and Mongol 800 sponsored island festival “What a Wonderful World !!!” in Yomitan, Okinawa. In March 2010, they released their new album “Lullaby of Sababa” for the first time in three years.
