Tatsuhiko Kitagawa

Tatsuhiko Kitagawa is a bass-baritone from Tokyo.
In 1995 he graduated from Komae High School of Tokyo Metropolitan Government, then graduated from the vocal course of the National College of Music in 1999. He completed graduated program of opera course at Kunitachi College of Music in 2002. He studied abroad in Italy(Royal Music Academy of Bologna) as a foreign trainee from the Agency for Cultural Affairs and Rohm Music Foundation. So far, he has studied with Mr. Higashi Hakida, Koichi Tajima, Masato Makino, Teruo Oshima, Teruhiko Komori, Sergio Bertcchi, Paola Molinari and Simone Allemo.
He won the Special Prize for Foreigners at the 13th Giuseppe Di Stefano International Competition, appeared in the role of Don Alfonso on the Trapani Music Festival (Sicily) "Kozi van Tutte" held that year.
