Kotlingo (the real name: Mariko Sankichi, July 17, 1978) is a Japanese musician, born in Osaka. She started playing the piano at the age of 5, and started to compose music at the age of seven. After moving to Osaka, Fukuoka and Nagoya, She graduated from high school and entered Koyo Conservatory, Kobe.
After graduating from the university, she got a special scholarship and studied abroad at Berklee College of Music in 1999, majoring in Jazz Arrangement / Piano Concert. In November, 2017, they released the album "The Rainy Garden" from her own label Koniwa.
