Naoki Hedenborg is a celloist. Born in Salzburg. At the age of 12 he performed with the Mozarteum Orchestra. 1993 he got No. 1 at International Cello Competition for young musicians. In 2003 he debuted solo at the Vienna Music Friends Association 's Great Hall. He performed at Slovak Phil, Prague Symphony Orchestra, Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra and others. After joining the Vienna State Opera Orchestra in 2011, he has been active in the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. Since 2006 he has served as a music advisor for the Kobe International Art Festival.
