Asakawa Tomoyuki (朝川 朋之; Tomoyuki Asakawa) (September 21, 1960 - ) is a Japanese musician who specializes in the harp. He has performed music for and/or done arrangement work on an extensive number of anime series and video games since he began working in the 1980s.
He began playing the piano from the age of 6. After that, as a Yamaha music envoy until the age of 15, he is dispatched to the countries of the United States, Mexico, West Germany, Hong Kong, Singapore and Indonesia. In 1986, he formed a piano-harp quartet "Sonority 4" , developed a concert activity and focused on French music.
In 1991, released a CD entitled "Relaxation Music by Harp and Wave" . It is a pioneer of relaxation music boom. Since then, he has released works such as the all-original "Forest Day" (1999), "GARDEN & amp; GARDENER" (2001) incorporating combo style swing and bossa nova, "Adult holiday" (2010).
