Hideo Akira is a jazz pianist born on December 8, 1978 in Chiba Prefecture. He grew up in Hokkaido until 10 years old. He is active in jazz clubs, concerts, festivals etc. throughout Japan.
He has released 15 albums so far and has more than 120 participating albums as sidemen. In the book there is "reason why the jazz piano works well, reason why".
Being familiar with instruments from a young age, he was impressed by jazz in high school and started the piano in earnest.
He graduated from Waseda University at the Modern Jazz Study Group and started doing professional activities from that time.
