Senshi was born after a Japanese themed video game on which Adam Rakic (vocals) worked on never saw the light of day, and he decided to lay down his distinctive ragamuffin vocal style (reggae rap) over the games Metal soundtrack.

Soon after that Adam Rakic and Milosh Armush (drums) formed the band with Kovacs Zoltan (guitar) and Szecsei Szabolcs (bass).

Mixing metal music with traditional Japanese instruments such as koto, taiko and shamisen as well as ragamuffin vocals proved to be a hit, and after Yanchi (Justice For Reason) twitted the bands first music video Musical Warriors, the song got 6000 retweets and over 200.000 views in only two days.

With the outpouring support from their newly found Japanese fanbase and a new lineup with Srdjan Toljagic (guitar) and Aleksandar Savic (drums) the band go full throttle and produce new songs and videos more or less on a monthly basis.

The band has collaborated with quite a few Japanese musicians, such as Ninety – U, Kiminobu Hirai from Hagakure, Yanchi from JFR, HARDBEAT and others.

Currently, the band is working on their first full length album that will be released in April, and planning their 2018 Japan tour. The band hopes to be a resident touring band in Japan and work with various Japanese artists in the future.
