Caribbean Dandy is a Tokyo based DJs collective formed sometime in the `80s. Formed and lead by Satoru Fujii a.k.a Satol F. (Clandestino), Tetz Matsuoka a.k.a Prince Matsuoka (Club Ska), Kaz Sudo (Afro Boogaloo Ska Academy), Txako (Japonicus), Amemiya ksk (discos Papkin). The collective exploded onto an unsuspecting Tokyo music scene with its unique mixture of Rebel Music and massive doses of Mestizo, Cumbia, Patchanka, Reggae, Ska, Balkan, Rock Latino and raw energy.
Famous for their live shows at festivals such as Fuji Rock Festival (Japan), Esperanzah World Music Festival (Spain), Rototom Sunsplash (Spain), Ariano Folk Festival (Italy), Asagiri Jam (Japan), Keepers of Time (USA), Clownia Festival (Catalonia), Rock On The Rock (Japan), Street Beat Festival (Italy), Radical Music Network (Japan), Gazte Eguna (Basque Country), Amor de Lejos (Puerto Rico), Urban Nomad Opening Freakout (Taiwan), etc.
Caribbean Dandy has been touring and working in Japan and all over the world with well known artists such as Rico Rodriguez, The Beat, Manu Chao, Fermin Muguruza, Nathen Maxwell of Flogging Molly, Tiken Jah Fakoly, Roy Ellis aka Mr.Symarip, Angelo Moore, Gaz Mayall, DJ Scratchy and many more.
In their wake, they left many fans hungry for more and influenced new DJs and artist throughout Japan and Europe. Caribbean Dandy continue touring around the globe.
