Shimizu Kazune (Shimizu Kazune, November 13, 1960 -) is a Japanese pianist.
Born in Tokyo. In 1965, entered the Toho Gakuen 'Music School for Children'. In 1978, while studying at Toho Girls High School Music University, he won the 3 rd prize at the 47th Japan Music Competition at the age of 17. After graduating from the same school studied abroad at the Geneva Conservatory in 1980, studied under Louis Hildblan. He won the 1981 Ron-Tibaud International Competition piano division and won a recital award. Open debut recital in 1982. In 1983, received the 9th Japan Chopin Association Award.

Most of the contemporary music since Debussy has not been recorded, and he is good at composers of generations from baroque music to the national music school (in the demonstration, he also covers modern times). Among them, I am deeply interested in Beethoven and Chopin. The performance of Beethoven's Hammerklavier has also recorded CD recordings.

Immediately after his debut Chopin played like a life work, and now he is also releasing a CD from EXTON, with a selection of mainly Chopin. It emphasizes that the intention of the label is "complete complete collection". On the other hand, he is a professor at Tokyo College of Music and is also teaching backwards.
