Hideki Ikegami (percussion instrument, marimba player)
Began playing with various genres of bands, including jazz drums, rock drums since 8 years old. After that, I met classical music, I was shocked by the world and started percussion and marimba. After going to Osaka Kyoiku University, she received a scholarship from the Romance Music Foundation, Nomura International Foundation, studied at the National Paris Conservatory (CNR) and Paris National Academy of Music (CNSM) in 1997. In 1997, he won the highest prize at the 46th Munich International Music Competition Percussion Division. Then studied at Karlsruhe Institute of Music (KE).

In 1999 he won the second prize in the 16th Japan Conduit Percussion Competition Percussion Instrument Division. 2004 Aoyama Music Award, Cultural Agency Arts Festival Music category Newcomer Award etc.

Since 1997, he is invited to contemporary music festivals throughout the world such as the Paris Japanese year memorial performance, the Berlin chamber music festival, the Munich Jazz & More festival, the Cologne Philharmonic performances and other festivals around the world. After performing activities in Europe, temporarily pause the activity and learn percussion music from scratch. Taught by famous opera singer, pianist, violinist, etc, apply the technique based on Belcant chanting to percussion and start practicing.
