Chikaco Sawada (Sawada Chikako, August 4, 1963 -) is a Japanese singer-songwriter. Born in Hachimantai City.
After working at the Traffic Safety Association in Saitama Prefecture, she started live house activities. She brought a demo tape to the master of the live house "Lantern" in Shibuya, and her debut was decided. 1987 she debuted with "Calling it as a lover".
In 1990, "I want to see you" (the theme song of TV Asahi "Tonight"), which was a single-cut from the album "I MISS YOU", achieved a single sales of 1.3 million sheets with a long-term hit, and she was in the 100th place on the Oricon single chart. She ranked in for a long period of 87 weeks and received the Grand Prix at the "24th All Japan Wireless Broadcast Grand Prize" in 1991.
