Hideki Morimoto

Born in 1973. He won the 1st prize at the Guraduate School of Music of Kyoto City University of Arts.
During his studies at the Music Faculty of Kyoto City University of Arts, he served as a flutist in the Osaka Symphony Orchestra until 1998.
Now he is a principal flutist of the Telemann Chamber Orchestra Japan, a leader of Ensemble Kyoto on Baroque Instruments, a menmer of next mushroom promotion, and a member of Ensemble "les Lunettes".
He is the winner of 1st prize of the Ensemble Award in the 16th Japan Flute Convention.

He has studied flute with Professors Fumiko Ando, Koichi Ito, Yoshimi oshima and Takako Shiraishi and attended master classes of Professors J. Baker, M.Larrieu, Ch. Larde, T. Wye, Ph. Bernold and J. Ferrandis.
He has studied periodical flutes with Professors Hidenori Takebayashi, Lisa Besnosiuk and Marc Hantai.
