Kazatsuri Azuma born on June 13, 1963 is a Japanese pop singer from Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo. He is a vocalist, bassist, keyboardist. While acting locally, based in Tokyo, he is actively engaged in music activities.
In the early childhood, he woke up to music by Beatles heard from his cousin. He adores Paul McCartney, he himself is a left-handed bass player, reminiscent of Paul from his style of playing, he has appeared in numerous Beatles-related events.
As the same Gemini left-handed bassist like Paul McCartney, he participated in numerous contests during high school and won Best Player Award etc. In 1985, he met with ex.TULIP Toshiyuki Abe, Tatsuya Himeno, Kaoru Itoh and joined ALWAYS. In September 1986, he has his debut from King Records. After releasing 5 single and 6 albums, he moved to Toshiba EMI in 1991 and released 3 singles and 2 albums. In 1995, he formed a British pop rock band Piccadilly Circus with Masashi Sugi, Kiyonari Matsuo etc as individual producer of Nagahata, at Abbey Road Studios in London to expand activities. After that he also acted as a bassist & vocalist indispensable to Beatles-related events. He had solo activities from 2008.
In 1986, he debuted with single "favorite" and album "ALWAYS BE TRUE". In 1996, he formed Piccadilly Circus with Masashi Sugi and Kiyomari Matsuo.
