Mr. Masumi Kubota is a vocalist with a different color experience in opera.
He graduated from the Department of Educational Music, Kunitachi College of Music in 1991 (now: Department of Music Education). The next year, he graduated from school of vocal music at the National Music College of Music. He also used to join in 62nd Japan Music Competition Vocal Music Section and rank the third position in the charts. After that, he received a scholarship from Goto Memorial - a scholar of the Italian Cultural Foundation.
He selected to compete in Riccardo - Sandnai International Competition in 1996.
In this year, he also selected 2nd at Ferruccio Talia Vini International Competition.
He has been invited to International Music Festival in Prague, Czech, Tsuyama and also attend in international performances in Italia, Australia.
