Shinozaki Shimaki (Shinzazaki Fumimonari, January 18, 1963 -) is a Japanese violinist born in Kitakyushu, Fukuoka Prefecture. When he was a high school student in 1978, he won the first place in the 32nd All-Japan Student Music Competition.
After graduating from high school in 1981, he studied at the Conservatory of Music of Vienna and studied the violin with Thomas Christian. While studying abroad, he won a silver prize at the 20th Bordeaux International Music Festival, third prize at the Bioti International Music Competition Chamber Music Division.
In 1988, after completing the Viennese City Conservatory, he returned home and became a concert master of the Gunma Symphony Orchestra. In 2001, received the Fukuoka Prefectural Cultural Award, appointed as the Minister of Culture of Kitakyushu City in 2008.
