Joelle (real name is Watanabe Joel Yoko) is a female singer-songwriter. Joelle was born in the US and raised in Japan. Her angelic yet powerful voice reflects a beautiful misture of those two cultures.
Joelle began piano lessons at the age of five, and singing lessons at age 17. She was influenced by Lisa Loeb, Sarah McLachlan, James Tayler, Michael Jackson, and Boys II Men.
She made her debut in 2006 with "Lucky Maria', an ending song for the popular movie "TRICK". A jazz album, Love Letters, was released by King Records in 2007.

She has also been a guest singer for Sound Horizon / Linked Horizon live theater productions. In 2016, Joelle sung Australian and Japanese national anthem at international women's basketball games.
