Mayuko Kawakita (河北 麻友子 born November 28, 1991) is a Japanese-American actress and model born in New York City, New York, USA. Her parents are pure Japanese, but they chose the nationality United States, so she is called foreigner (Japanese American) talent.
She launched her career in Japan after winning the Japan Bishōjo Contest, a beauty pageant in 2003 held by Oscar Promotion. She made her acting debut in the television drama “Sekaigumi TV” (2005-2006). On December 11 2005, she has first appearance on the drama "Fuji TV series" and has appeared in many popular films and television dramas since, including the recent “Shiratori Reiko” (2016) and “Shiratori Reiko The Movie” (2016).
