U-KEN (the real name: Kenichi Komiya , 1978, September 20) is a Japanese reggae singer, born in Tokyo. He used to be a member of former RACY BULLET (Lacey Barrett). He graduated from Hokusei Gakuen Yoichi High School and began activities as a singer of sound system RACY BULLET in 1999. In 2003, he released compilation album "ESCAPE" (BACCHANAL 45) and the recorded song "DOKO" became the hit around the club scene.
Indie's first album "DOKO" was released in 2005 and the leead song "DOKO" was also used for the appearance songs of Mr. Morimoto Rare Tezu at Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters. In 2007, he made major debut with single "The Summer's Fault" from Kuon Records under the umbrella of Sony Music Entertainment (SME).
