DJ MASTERKEY (real name: Masaki Yazawa) is a Japanese DJ born in Kamata, Ota-ku, Tokyo. In 1988, while going to the United States and doing DJ activities at the New York club, he formed BUDDHA BRAND with DEV LARGE, NIPPS, CQ After that, he returned to Japan in 1995.
DJ MASTERKEY acted as a DJ of BUDDHA BRAND in the 1990's. After working as DJ of BUDDHA BRAND, he announced his own solo works and hosted the event "DADDY'S HOUSE" as a DJ of Club HARLEM in Shibuya.
In 2001, DJ MASTERKEY established his own production & record label "THE LIFE ENTERTAINMENT" in Meguro-ku, Tokyo. In winter 2003, he established an apparel brand "ROCKSMITH" with the same name as his own nickname. In addition, he also produces remixes and produces other artists.
