Junko Kasahara is a famous pianist.

She enrolled in Osaka University of Arts as a full-time tuition waiver for 4 years, and won the Tsukamoto Prize by the best results of the university in graduation. She had a completion of music major course at Mukogawa Women's University. Junko completed her course with the best grades. She attended many contests such as ABC Newcomer Concert Audition, Rubinstein International Piano Competition and others. In addition to being invited frequently at the Summer International Music Festival in Italy and Finland, Germany and Saar Music Festival, Saarbrücken International Music Festival, "Schubertiade", St. Petersburg-Russia Japan Art Festival, International Music Week, etc., she is also being televised and radio broadcasted in European countries. In addition to recitals in European countries, South America, Russia, Israel, Japan, etc., Junko also joined chamber music with the principal players such as Zagreb String Quartet, Czech Philharmonic and Berlin Philharmonic Concert Master, Japan Century Symphony Orchestra, Telemann Chamber Orchestra. There are also numerous collaborations with orchestras such as Kansai Philharmonic Orchestra, Mozart Chamber Orchestra, Osaka Philharmonic Orchestra, Cuenca National Symphony Orchestra, St. Petersburg State Academy Orchestra, St. Petersburg State Capella Symphony Orchestra, Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra etc. Currently she is a lecturer at Osaka University of the Arts and Kyoto Women's University, as well as conducting guidance using her own Alexander technique for nearly 20 years at various locations and receiving repercussions.

Junko Kasahara was born in New Jersey, USA. She studied At The Osaka University Of Arts, Japan and continued her Studies as a Postgraduate Student At The St.Petersburg State Conservatory, Ecole Normal De Paris, And The Musikhochschule Saarbruecken (Konzert Ando Solisten Examen) In Germany.
