In 2003, he studied abroad in Vienna as an overseas trainee of Afinis Cultural Foundation, studied under Mr. Alexander Arenkov. Currently, Atsushi Shirai is the quartet · Resonanza 1st violinist, member of indoor orchestra "ARCUS", the deputy director of NPO corporation "Hama's JACK", part-time lecturer at Kunitachi College of Music and the 2nd Violin Secondary player in NHK Symphony Orchestra.
