Daimei Shimizu is a Japanese conductor. He won the first place, Masuzawa Prize, Special Prize in the 57th Japan Music Competition and co-stared NHK Symphony Orchestra with "Young Bud Concert". He received a scholarship from the Cultural Agency of Quality of Life Culture Foundation and studied at the Vienna City Conservatory. Conductor co-starred with the school orchestra while studying abroad and also joined recitals in Germany, France, USA.
After returning to Japan in 1998, he was active as a concertmaster of the New Japan Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra until November 2001. In addition, he has been engaged in various activities such as a special lecturer at Toho Gakuen Orchestra, part-time lecturer at Ueno Gakuen University music school, conductor of Arkas SASEBO Junior Orchestra, guidance and other concerts of amateur orchestra, etc,.
