Kimura Noriko is a soprano born in Osaka. In 1981, while studying at Mukogawa Women's University School of Music, she passed the audition of the Opera Studio of Dresden State Opera, and signed a contract for five years.
She appeared in performances in Germany as well as in Spain, Russia, Czech Republic. In 1983, she was the youngest ever winner of the German Opera Singer Competition.
In 1985, as a soloist of the Dresden State Opera, she appeared in Webber "Warrior Shooter" as a regular member and performed at the opening of the Semperoper Repair Completed Opening. In addition, she appeared in the 300th anniversary performance of Wartburg Castle's Birth birthday, and the performance was broadcasted in all Europe and Japan.
She has many collaborations with orchestras such as the Berlin Symphony Orchestra, as well as being popular as a Riet singer, activities in Europe based on Weimar are fulfilling.
