Kazuo Irie is a pianist from Saitama prefecture. He won the first place in the 77th Japan Music Competition Piano category. In addition, he received the Nomura Prize, the Iguchi Prize, the Kawai Award, and the Iwatani Prize (Audience Award). He performed not only solo, but also with domestic major orchestras, chamber music, ensemble.
Currently, he received a grant from Rohm Music Foundation, he enrolled in the Graduate School of Music at the Moscow Conservatory of Music and is instructed by Elliso Vilsarase.
