Tomomi Shinozaki

Tomomi Shinozaki is an Japanese artist playing viola. After graduating from Toho Girls High School Music School, he graduated with Toho Gakuen University as head chief in 1995.

She received "Saito Hideo Award" at the 1992 Tokyo International Music Competition Chamber Music Division. In 1994 she received a special prize at the Lionel Tertis International Viola Competition. She won the third prize in 1997 at Munich International Music Competition.

She is participating in numerous festivals such as Aspen Music Festival (USA), Kirishima International Music Festival, Miyazaki International Chamber Music Festival, Kitakyushu International Chamber Music Festival, and so on. Currently she is the principal player of the New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, and also active as a member of Kioi Sinfonietta Tokyo, Japan Chamber Orchestra, String Ensemble Vega, Saito Kiinen Orchestra and others.
