Hiroaki Sakata graduated from Kunitachi College of Music. He is a leader in many groups and is good at producing based on the characteristics of individual members.
He is a member of YAMATO String Quartet. He started activities with special incentive received from the Matsuo Science Foundation. Hiroaki Sakata received Grand prix award at the Oko-shi rookie music festival in Akita prefecture.
He performed in JYACMS's 10th Memorial Concert, Risonare Music Festival, NHK-FM Recital, Nippon Broadcasting Public Recording "Nippon Steel Concert" Promising Artist Series.

He is a guest star of the Gunma Symphony Orchestra, Osaka Century Symphony Orchestra, Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra, Kanagawa Philharmonic, Yamagata Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo City Philharmonic Orchestra and others.
Currently he is a part-time lecturer at Okura University.
