Kenko Ken is a jazz bassist born in 1964. After graduating from Kunitachi College of Music, he started playing music. After joining "Midnight Groove" (King Records), he performed with many musicians such as Yamamoto Tsuyoshi (p), Osumi Yusuo (ds), Agawa Yasuko (vo).
In 2005, he released his own single "I Like It!". In 2007, he participated in tours and recordings with Special Big Band, Naoko Terai Quartet, Saori Yano Quartet. In May 2010, album "What Am I Here For" was released and received the swing journal magazine "Gold Disc".
On the other hand, he has been a lecturer at the National Music College since 2006.
