Koji Goto (jazz pianist)

Koji Goto (Nagano Koji, January 23, 1973 -) is a pianist from Aichi prefecture.

He started playing classical piano at the age of four. After listening to the performance of Bill Evans (p) in high school and he was interested in jazz. At the same time entering Nanzan University, he began his performance mainly in live houses in Nagoya City, he professionally debuted with Yasuhiro Kohama's (ts) Quartet as he graduated from college.

In addition to his own group activities, he participated in many groups such as Okada (Koji Goto, Tsutomu Okada, Atsushi Kuroda, etc.). Since October 2016, he is a MC of the CBC radio "Koji Goto Jazz Spirit ~ You and Night and Music".
