Ryo Arayama

Ryo Arayama is a Japanese drummer born in March 1991 in Mizuho-ku, Nagoya City. He began playing the drums at the age of 10 and experienced a number of stages including regional events such as the Aichi Expo and the Tokyo Disney Resort.

Starting activities as a professional since Showa University of Music studies, he was awarded a special prize at the time of graduation.

He won an Individual Award at JAPAN STUDENT JAZZ FESTIVAL 2007. In 2018, he will record and tour with Mr. Toshio Kadomatsu. He was selected as one of 60 emerging musicians in the 2010s.
