Tomobe Masato (Masato Tomba, May 25, 1950 -) is a Japanese folk singer, poet.
He was born in Kichijoji, Tokyo and grew up all over the place. In the Aichi Prefectural High School era, he was in charge of the bass and other roles with his friends and the Beatles' copy band. After that, he listened to Bob Dylan's "Like a Rolling Stone", and get into songwriting. He sang his songs at the street corner of Nagoya as soon as he graduate.
