Scarflame (The SKA FLAMES) is a Japanese ska band formed in 1985.
In 1984 when there weren't many bands yet in Japan, The SKA FLAMES was formed from its predecessor band, "Blue Flames" and they first debuted in 1985. The SKA FLAMES representing Japanese ska genre that adheres to the style aimed from the beginning. As Japan's first full-fledged band, they made the world debut in 1989 and has continued to give a lot of influence to many DJs, organizers and later bands. They have featured many legendary musicians including Scatalites, Prince Buster, Jackie Mittu, Rico, Laurel Aitkin and numerous big names. Since the beginning, their continuing appearance has been still enthusiastically welcomed by young people.

THE AUTOCRATICS is a Japanese ska punk band. At the end of 2016, they were selected for support at THE SKA FLAMES in Shibuya quattro and also appeared in the Japan oldest SKA event "CLUB SKA" in March, 2017. Their fifth album of Ji · AUTO CLUTICS, which has been walking steadily as Japan's leading SKA band in the year was released. About a year and a half from the previous mini-album "Fall of the wall (SIWI 260)" which also challenged the new early reggae style, the full album was completed.
Oi-Skall Mates is a long-running skacore band from Japan that have been active since 1996. They are usually referred to as one of the most influential and well known bands from the Japanese 90's skacore explosion.
