Mina Kobayashi was born in Yamanashi Prefecture. She begin ballet at the age of 5. She entered the Russian National Waganoova Ballet Academy in 2008. In 2010, she graduated at the Marinsky Theater with the ballet "Dancing in Paris". In September of the same year, she joined Russia St. Petersburg Ballet Theater. In September 2011, she moved to Poland Opera Nova Bidogoshi Ballet.
In August 2014, Mina Kobayashi joined the K Ballet Company. She promoted as the first soloist in September 2017.
